Digital Entertainment Solution (DES) is designed to manage a wide range of news and entertainment services in IP on the television.

The DES range is modular and upgradeable and efficiently meets each client profile and project size on the Hospitality market:

Hotels,
Residences,
Cruise ships,
Living quarters.

DES is suitable for a hotel IPTV application installed in a few rooms, as well as for a multi-site architecture enabling an offer to be rolled out with different service levels to several hotels and residences, from a central server.

The DES range covers two levels of offers designed to correspond to all project sizes and categories:

DES in its standard version can create a range of IPTV services with the option of invoicing access to TV channels
DES in its Master and Master Plus versions, in addition to the basic services of DES standard version, offers the possibility of on-demand services: Video on demand (VoD) and Music on demand. DES Master and DES Master Plus respectively integrate a ratio of on-demand services of 20% and 40% to adapt particularily the VOD stream capacity to meet the hotelier's needs.

DES Master and DES Master Plus can be combined with a film and music content offer.

The basic version of DES is a local version with one server per site. It can also be provided in a multi-site version with a central, pooled server. This configuration enables each hotel to keep its specificities (visual guidelines, PMS, information portal, etc.) and at the same time it provides savings on equipment (DVB/IP gateways, server, etc.) and simplifies management for a chain of hotels.

IPTV Reception
DES is associated with DVB/IP gateways to offer, via terrestrial, satellite or cable reception, a wide choice of TV and radio channels with digital quality.

Server
DES is installed on a Windows server sized in accordance with the number of set-top boxes and services offered: from a local server serving one establishment to a central server shared between several establishments via fibre or gigabyte links, DES can be adapted to any project, whatever the size.

Network
With the right network equipment, DES can be adapted to different types of cables: CAT 5/6, CAT 3 (through DSLAM), IP over coaxial.

Set-top box
DES uses set-top boxes MPEG2 and H.264 for HD that have been qualified by operators. The set-top box can be completed with an infra-red keyboard to browse the Internet on the TV.

TV
ES is compatible with all types of LCD and Plasma flat screens (HD Ready & Full HD).
