After six years of renovation, Le Mouflon d’Or, located in the heart of Alta Rocca in southern Corsica, reopened its doors in Zonza at the end of May.

 

Originally built in the last century, the establishment has been restored with a perfect balance between the past and the present, combining noble materials, elements of the island’s heritage, and a contemporary touch in its furniture and decor. Nestled within a park of ancient cedars and chestnut trees, this destination offers a bubble of relaxation, timeless and serene.

The only 5-star hotel in the mountainous region of Corsica and labeled Relais & Châteaux, Le Mouflon d’Or features 22 rooms and suites. It is complemented by its restaurant, A Nepita, which honors the flavors of Corsica and the Mediterranean. A 1,200 m² spa is set to complete this exceptional venue in 2026.
